Magnetic Tile Outfits

A delightful and interactive method to explore shapes and matching. This project is vibrant, imaginative, and incredibly enjoyable!

The Set Up

Start by laying out a lengthy piece of paper. Then, select the magnetic tiles of your choice. Next, trace around each shape to form the outline of each person.

Provide your child with an assortment of magnetic tiles, offering them a wide range of options to explore. Encourage them to experiment with various shapes and sizes, allowing them to discover the perfect magnet that matches each drawn shape.

How about a bit of role reversal? Try switching it up! Instead of designing and drawing the people yourself, why not let the children take the lead in this creative task? By allowing them to design the characters and outfits, kids can explore their creativity and imagination in a fun and engaging way. They can experiment with various shapes and see how they can be combined to create unique and interesting looks.

What do kids learn from Magnetic Tiles?

Magnetic construction toys provide children with a well-rounded learning experience that enhances cognitive skills, promotes fine motor development, encourages creativity, and fosters social interaction. By engaging in activities that involve assembling and disassembling various magnetic pieces, children are able to focus on developing their critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills. Additionally, as children analyse the structure, balance, and symmetry of their creations, they are also developing their spatial cognition and visual-spatial intelligence. Through the use of magnetic construction toys, parents and educators can support children's growth, learning, and exploration by providing them with an engaging and educational tool that offers a myriad of benefits for child development across all ages.
